Last weeks defrosting of my garage freezers provided a windfall of goodies that were hiding behind bags of other goodies.

While checking my local grocery store ads I came across untrimmed tri-tip for $1.98lb and decided we'd have to do some Labor Day burgers

A double bacon cheeseburger and two bottles of Becks beer made me pretty darned happy with life. Now I've got a corned beef that was hidden in the freezer thawing in the sink and a loaf of rye bread going in the machine, works perfect every time

Nice patty machine. I have the Weston brand cast iron one and for sme reason the patties nearly always come out a litlle uneven in thickness.
