The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Post by sawhorseray » Mon Oct 08, 2012 19:29

The Good: We went to Reno for a couple of days and stayed at Boomtown, free room, free food, free booze. I hit a royal fulsh on the pai gow table and by the time we decided to leave we had $900 more than we walked in with. Drove right next door to Cabelas and picked up their commercial-grade 10" meat slicer, pretty much rounds out my meat processing system.

The Bad: Both Bay Area teams I root for are on the verge of being eliminated from the baseball playoffs. Baseball was more of a 2010 kind of thing anyway, thank God for the mighty Niners!

The Ugly: Got all loaded up last night to head to my buddy's cabin for a few days of deer hunting, they already have three bucks in the first two weeks of the season. Woke up with a real bad stiff neck, feels like a ice-pick is stuck in my shoulder blade every time I move my head. Deer hunting trip postponed till next week, at least.

My shipment of Prague Powder and bacon hangers arrive tomorrow, maybe I can smoke some meat without hurting myself. RAY

Hey Ray, I`ve got it figured out. The casino owner and the pai gow table operator have conspired together and have procured a doll, a needle, and a VooDoo handbook!
Hope you start feeling better.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

PS... I`m also a total wreck during the playoffs. Last year I just lost it! I asked my brother what I could do. He said, "Take up golf".
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably needs more time on the grill! :D
