Pork roast tonight

Post by ssorllih » Wed Apr 17, 2013 03:22

I do believe that the castration knife didn't find this little piggie. That roast smelled pretty gamey when I pulled it from the oven. just salt and pepper for seasoning . Now I know why sage is so popular in pork seasoning.

Shucks Ross, maybe you got a wild bore, baur, boer, bohr, or borre... instead of a wild boar. Hey, what do you expect for .57 cents a pound?
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably needs more time on the grill! :D

In the field we just say " his nuts got the best of him". Only difference between the field and the yard is a fence, seems to grow more small all the time. I loves a sweet pig and hates a stinky hog, but that's just me. I'll be killin' soon, and I'll be being very picky . RAY

I remarked on it and Nancy asked what was wrong and I invited her to smell of it. She thought that it was fine so we ate it .

When I run into some gamey or dry wild hog cuts I like to resort to applesauce, seems to make everything yummy. RAY

I give the first chunk of any meat to my Chessie. If he refuses to eat it, I take it all out for bear bait!!!
