Being low on all things sausage and meat I thought this would be a good time to get ready for all the Xmas meat sales and have space for all the things I'm going to stuff and smoke. The first order of business was to empty everything into one freezer, tho a large cooler will do in a pinch

Then the empty icky freezer

Can be secured and easily transported outside the garage

Blow off all the frost with garden hose jet nozzle, dry with yard blower

Return to garage position all dry and tidy

Repeat process with second freezer. 60 minutes work, good for the next year. RAY

My freezer is in the cellar. It weighs more than I so dragging it up a flight of stairs ain't going to happen.

I hear ya Ross, and being in a cellar there's no drains I'd imagine. I got the first part of my Project B-2 done after my freezer work, 22 pounds of grinding, mixing, and cleaning. I'll post it tomorrow, I'm now doing Advil and vodka. RAY
