Hi,
Are there any members that have used, own or heard any reports about RHENINGHAUS meat slicers.
I am going to inspect probably the smaller version, it looks in great clean condition, has a slight rumbling noise when switched on according to the owner. Could be motor bearings?
It cuts extremely well and has a sharpening stone set up as well.
The name suggests German made but it is actually made in Italy. It came out of a small restaurant that closed down.
Any advise or pointers what to look for is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jan.

Hey Jan,

I have one, the 250 blade. Great slicer, I have no problems. Although a bigger blade will always be better, I did not think it worth it for home use.
Yes, they are made in Italy.

Hi Jan,
Great to hear from you again. The reason I like a European made slicer is because a friend of mine bought a Chinese made one. He has trouble keeping the blade sharp as the sharpening stones won't do the job properly.
Going by the name, I thought it was German made, not Italian.
If you are pleased with your slicer and it's quality, it will put my mind at ease.
Cheers Mate,
Jan.
