Killing that deer would be murder. I had them in the yard last winter. Now that spring has put green back on everything they are staying away.

The deer around here walk around and do as they please like cows in India. I'd like to process a few into sausages but I'm too old to go to jail. Fortunately my brother in law and nephews in Saskatchewan are hunters and I get white tail venison from them. Two weeks ago I made made another batch of my salame di cervo and am curing a venison loin for a breasola di cervo. Leaving today into the wilderness of the interior of Vancouver Island, camping and hiking in Strathcona Park.

Took the picture from about 6 feet. He has been hanging around my apple tree. Yesterday he walked into my garage while I was in there because he saw a pail of apples. Took a lot arm waving to get him out. I get no respect!

Chris, start by flinging apples at him. That will convince him that you are not as friendly as he presumes.

Naw, he thinks I like him! And I have this love hate relationship with the deer here. They are fun to have around but make a mess on my driveway and restrict us from planting most flowers in the front yard.
