I learned a couple of things today, after almost getting my identify breached.

First this a secured web site?

Because, I was told from Microsoft, that if the site doesn't start with ( http ) or if it doesn't have the "LOCK" icon, it s not safe.

After today, my computer can no longer be touched, but any feed back on subject ?

It's not a secure site, unless you are exchanging credit card or other sensitive info really no reason for concern.

The internet is not a safe place period. There are many things that can be done to make web surfing safer. A VPN service connection is something you can look into. Set up vpn on your router, not the same as a VPN service. The bad guys are looking for an always on web connection. They are not interested in your personal information for the most part. They already have that information from all the major hacks in the past few years. This site I`m sure has procedures in place to prevent thier service from being compromised in this way.

Thanks Laftpig, Ya know what this is just a subject I thought to bring up, not because I really thought this web site was any threat, and my laptop system is now 100% protected, but I came very close to having my identity and banks accounts stolen.
I trust this site and everyone in it!
