side-by-side fridge as a curing chamber?

Anyone tried to use a side-by-side fridge? I'm not sure if you can remove the center divider. I've a lead on a side-by-side, but don't want to get it if I can't use it.

I've used a two door dough retarder. You could rig it where you ferment on one side and cure on the other.
