La Caja China cooking box.

Hi Members,
After watching a Bobby Flay BBQ program, I loved the China cooking box he used.
Are there any plans available for a mini one that you can actually hold 2-3 chickens or 2 pork butts or a combination.
I liked the charcoal on top cooking method.
I searched Yahoo but only came up with boxes the size of handcarts. Flipping monsters.
I just like to make one from all stainless, smallish and easy to clean, no wheels.
After watching his BBQ program I now have an all consuming inferiority complex.
Regards,
Jan.

Google Cajun Microwave plans. I believe that's what you're looking for. Hope this helps.

Are these not just very large dutch ovens? From the video I had the impression that their function was like an oven with a broiler.

Seems like but on steroids. If you can access Texas Boars website when Googling Cajun Microwave, it has a lot of photos of a guy making one. Lot of angle iron in the building of one but I'm sure you could reduce the size with the right math.

The important pieces seem to be the meat rack and the charcoal tray. These could also be made in any practical size gas fired with propane.
