Hi Ursula,
You can bet yer` banjo you`re close but no smoke. Aussies are certainly huckleberries cut above persimmons, but the full-rigged big sugar says the title belongs to someone else.

And the answer is................... Costa Ricans! Yup, it's true.

Hey Folks! We have another good-lookin' and intelligent member! Hello Valeriet in Virginia and welcome to Wedliny Domowe.

Say Valerie, don`t ya just love animals? Here is some, "Really, Really, Strange But True!"

...A group of flamingos is called a flamboyance.
...Penguins only have one mate their entire life and "propose" by giving their mate a pebble.
...Butterflies can taste with their feet.
...Rats giggle when you tickle them. Their voices are so high-pitched you need special equipment to hear them, but when you do, their laughs are immediately evident.
...Sea horses mate for life, are completely faithful and travel together by holding on to each other`s tails.
...A monkey was once tried and convicted for smoking a cigarette in South Bend, Indiana.
...Baby rabbits are called kittens.
...A group of porcupines is called a prickle.
...Baby puffins are called pufflings.

Make yourself right at home Valerie! It`s nice to have you with us.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Okay, okay.... we'll change it!
As of now, it is.... (drum roll...) The Aussies!

Jan, I learned long, long, ago... the secret of maintaining a relationship in marriage. All you have to do is remember 4 little words and use them often.
Unfortunately, I haven't followed my own advice!
Oh yes... the four little words are:
"You're probably right dear"

Best Wishes,

Now here`s some startling information you just can`t live without! This year (2013) is the first year since 1987 that consists for four different digits. Where does the time go? I was just thinking about Generals Lee and Grant at Appomattox at the end of the Civil War. Actually, it wasn`t that long ago. However, how would they react today upon seeing horseless carriages, flying robots, space travel, long-distance communication at the speed of light, cloning, lasers, connection to people all over the world, and the miracles of modern medicine? They wouldn`t believe their eyes. Yup, we are living in the future people only dreamed of merely a century ago.

Hey folks, let`s all welcome rreidiii from San Diego, California, and Jersey Devil from New Jersey. Make yourselves right at home fellas and grab yourselves a cup of hot Arbucle`s at the campfire! Nice to have you with us.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Wow! Have you ever stopped to consider that at the time of your birth, you were, for a few seconds, the youngest person on the planet! Yes, yes, despite high infant mortality rates and lower life expectancies, not one of your direct ancestors died childless! But that`s not all... No matter how long you live there will always be an amazing new food for you try.

Welcome to Wedliny Domowe "Edward Ronald" of Global World, and "timwru" in Cape Town. We are mighty pleased to have you folks join our ranks. Please pull up some shade and pour yourselves a cup of Arbuckle`s hot, brown gargle. And for goodness sakes, RELAX... you're among friends!

Best Wishes,

Hey folks... It`s time for some: Chuckwagon`s Saddlebum`s Sagebrush Sagacity & Wild Western Wisdom!
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up! However good or bad a situation is, remember - it will change. Time heals almost everything. But you`ve got to give time, some time.

Yeee Haaaaaw! We`ve got a "wranglerette" and a couple of new wranglers `round tonight`s campfire. First there`s "mechels" and she`s from "Shewon`tsay" in the USA. Next is "Stew" in Galt, California, and he`s followed by "BBQ Train" in Chicago, Illinois. Welcome to Wedliny Domowe folks! This is a great place to spend your time. Grab yourselves a plate of beans and a hot cup of Greenriver mudwater - strong enough to float a Colt, from the pot on the campfire then make yourselves right at home. Nice to have you with us!

Best Wishes,

...used ta date a girl from just down the road from "Shewon'tsay," in "Shesaidno," USA. ...but after a while, she said yes, and now we've been married close to 45 years. Come to think of it, though, she's startin' ta say "No" again.

Okay wranglers... do you remember that beautiful song called "Shenandoah"? Shucks, I can even play it using both hands! Well, only since 1996 has it been the official "state" song in the home of "Blkandrust", our newest member. Welcome to our website Blkandrust! Make yourself right at home and pour yourself a cup of brown gargle from the pot on the campfire!
Oh... you need more hints about the state Blkandrust hails from? Well, let`s see... the state fish is the Brook Trout and the state dog is the American Foxhound.
And Ross Hill will appreciate the state`s official boat... Yup, it is the Chesapeake Bay Deadrise, described as "a wooden boat with a steep bow and a tiny cabin with a long cockpit". Seven of our presidents are buried here, including Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Tyler, Taft, and Kennedy. Yup pards, Blkandrust hails from Virginia! Nice to have you with us.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon
