Post

On Monday for supper I put four cabbage rolls stuffed with chaurice sausage in a casserole and quartered 2 potatoes and 2 onions and 2 carrots added a pint of chicken stock, salt pepper corns, 2 whole allspice berries and some coriander, covered it and baked it at 350°F until the potatoes were done. That was supper Monday and I saved the stock. Last night I put 2 chicken thighs in the dish with some more veggies and baked that covered until the meat was done. Supper last night and I saved the stock. Today I made soup with the stock, some year old sausage from the freezer, the chopped midribs from the cabbage leaves that I used to make the stuffed cabbage some carrots, potatoes, onions and some mushrooms and tomatoes and another pint of chicken stock.

Geeeeeze Ross, the only thing wrong with this stuff is that we're not fixing it over a campfire at our canoe camp in the pines somewhere just below Flaming Gorge on the Green River!

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably needs more time on the grill!

A friend told me that I left out the blood of the turnip.
