Hi Pards,
Can someone explain to me why we can`t leave our houses without our cell phones? We never even had the danged things for the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of our lives! Now, forgetting the cell phone is cause for panic and we must turn around to go back and get it!

Hey folks, we got four new members today. Let`s all welcome "hasaboat" from Houston, Texas, "Ozarker" from the Ozarks, and "mweipert" and "Hot-tub mike" from Mississippi. We`re tickled to have you folks with us. Pull up some shade and pour yourselves a cup of Arbuckle`s brown gargle! Make yourselves right at home fellas. You`re among friends!

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Hi Pards,
Welcome to WD, "bricks" in Mannila, Phillipines, "annepomeroy" in Wisconsin, and "mcontente" in Yukon, Oklahoma. We know you folks are "wanted" and have "posters" pinned up with your pretty faces on them... inside the Post Office! And all because you`ve driven cattle through the yards of senators and representatives and thrown tomatoes at their windows. Shucks folks, you can hide out here as long as you need to... because we all wish we would have thought of it first! Grab some campfire and some Arbuckle`s and join us as we complain about politicians, elected mutton-heads, and other selfish polecats!

I've had a major revealing and enlightening illumination today! Today I discovered that duct tape has 1,001 uses... but toilet paper is NOT one of them! Nice to have you with us folks!

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Hi Smoke Addicts,

Why is it that just as I am finally holding all the right cards, everyone wants to play dominoes? Hey, did you know that the average American eats 28 pigs in his or her lifetime? Wow! And did you know that cows have best friends? Yup, it`s true. And did you know that cows produce the most milk while listening to music? Scientists have now found that cows produce the most milk while listening to the song Everybody Hurts by REM. By the way, most people who are allergic to cow-milk products (lactose intolerant), can use goat and sheep milk products. Generally, it is the lactose or protein in cow`s milk that causes the allergic reaction or intolerance. Though both goat and sheep milk have lactose and protein, the chemistry simply doesn't bother most people for some reason.

Welcome Dudly in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, jniplig in Beijing, China, and resistbody in Bulgaria. We`re happy to have you new wranglers with us! You`re going to like this place as there are lots of nice, friendly folks around here. Join us in the chatter and fun. But watch out not to step on the tailfeathers of that cotton-pickin`, caterwauling, nerve rackin` quackin` duck that waddles around here bumping into the fixtures. Pour yourselves some Arbuckle`s brown gargle and pull up some campfire. With a little luck and a careful aim, we could be having roast anatidae (quack, quack) later on this evening!

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Hah! Nonsense! Put down that rusty ol' tin cup of Arbuckle's and waddle on over to the Duck's tent. Come over to "the Dark Side." (We have cookies.)
ImageBetter yet, come over to "the Pork Side." (We have sausages.)

Hey, hey, hey! Two new gals and two new guys joining our outfit today! First there`s "Ckuzia" in New York, then "Chachki" in Canada, and " boars breath" in Healdsburg, California, and last but not least, Kerry Mayes in Middle, Tennessee. Welcome to WD folks. It`s nice to have you with us.

Say there... isn`t it about time for some, "Thrilling Tumbleweed Trivia" - particularly, peculiar, poppycock you probably just couldn`t live without!
Did you know that your forearm (from inside of elbow to inside of wrist) is the same length as your foot? Hmmmm.... Doctors believe that Abraham Lincoln probably had a medical condition called Marfans syndrome. Some of its symptoms are extremely long bones, curved spine, an arm span that is longer than the persons height, eye problems, heart problems and very little fat. It is a rare, inherited condition.

Folks, pour yourselves a cup of brown gargle and join us at the campfire!

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

"Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt some but it's the only way to live life completely. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much. And don't judge others by their relatives. They didn't pick them."
Make yourselves at home folks and pour some brown gargle from the pot.

Best Wishes,

Welcome aboard Animas Forks of Silverton... (USA). I presume that is the gorgeous little town in Colorado where I was chased down Blair Street! Yup, it`s the home of the Durango And Silverton Narrow-Gauge Railroad, and a town of picturesque beauty. We`re glad you joined us and hope you "set a spell" `round the ol` campfire.
Oh,oh! The Duck says it`s time to play,"Inquiring Minds Really, Really, Want To Know". The first person to answer this question, wins a season`s pass for swimming in the Great Salt Lake! Here`s the question: Travelling south from Ouray, Colorado, 21 miles from Silverton, you will drive over Red Mountain Pass. What is this road`s famous name?
Make yourself right at home Animas Forks. You`re among friends.

Best Wishes,

Okay smoke addicts,
Can you name the second largest French-speaking city in the world (after Paris)? I`ll give you a hint. It is actually an island and it has the second highest number of restaurants per capita in North America (after New York City). Need more hints? Okay... The city was built around a mountain and has a famous "underground city" - a maze of tunnels and shops that covers more than 18 miles. Got it yet? Here`s more: The city`s Jazz Festival and its International Fireworks Festival are both the biggest of their kinds in the world. Still stumped? This city hosted the Olympics in 1976 and was Canada`s first. It`s the home of our latest member "Greentree"! Yup, she lives in Montreal, Canada. Welcome to WD "greentree"! Pull up some shade and a little campfire and pour yourself a cup of brown gargle. You`re among friends here!

Best Wishes,

New riders saunterin` into camp! Hey, I know this bunch. These guys robbed the bank at Santa Fe and were on the run for weeks dodging sheriff`s bullets! Come on in boys, we`ll paint you brown and hide you among the cows! You'll have to learn how to say "mooo". Welcome to Wedliny Domowe Lujanit in Thailand, Mski2 in California, and Kent in Sweden. It`s nice to have you with us. Just pour yourselves a cup of Arbuckle`s and "set a spell". You`re among friends here! Welcome aboard.

Hey, Isn`t it time for some..."Really, Really, Strange But True"?
Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people. Sadly, over 2500 left handed people a year are killed from using products made for right handed people. All Polar bears are left-handed. Really, really, strange... but true!

Welcome to WD Echriste in Jesi, Italy, Duffrtj in Minnesota, MarkR in St.Petersburg, Florida,AmyPriscilla in Tamil Nadu, India, Goat Poker in Texas, and Ossi in Tasmania (Australia). It`s nice to have you folks with us. Pull up some campfire and pour yourselves a cup of brown gargle. "Set a spell" and join the chat. Again, welcome aboard!

Howdy Smoke Sniffers! I`ve got a question. I play the piano. I`m called a pianist. El DuckO drives a race car. Why isn`t he called a racist? Yeah! And if lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, shouldn`t electricians be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed?

Hey, I reckon we ought ta` welcome three new buckaroos to WD. Say howdy to Sandeel from Pakistan, NaughtyPork from South Africa, and javens in the USA. It`s nice to have you folks with us. Pour some Arbuckle`s and pull up some campfire! Welcome aboard folks.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon
