What? Your doctor said what?
The doc said no hunting or fishing for at least four months.
Out here, we'd hang that doctor then we'd go get a second opinion from a doctor who "knows better"!

Everyone knows that fishing is the best therapy for a torn rotator cuff.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably needs more time on the grill!

Busy weekend, didn't have time to get back on here. Thanks for all the replies everyone! I too would be looking for a second and third opinion if my doctor told me I had to stay out of the woods or off the water!

half sticks and short fuses.
Ross, even using long fuses, we have to throw the thing as hard as we can, then paddle the canoe like we were afraid of water!
I'm thinkin' about switchin' to depth charges instead of dynamite. The fish are so large in the Great Salt Lake, that regular dynamite has little effect on them anyway.

We've wild turkeys running amok around these parts. So much so that the city hired designated 'turkey hunters' to try and put a dent in the turkey population. The big birds are everywhere-crossing streets, hanging out on roof tops, cruising neighborhoods, leaving droppings everywhere. California has VERY strict hunting policies, and with no real predator, the big birds thrive. Seeing flocks of 10-12 in your front or back yard not uncommon.
some stragglers not too far from our church property....
